Functional principle of quick-release systems

Using the example of the QUICKLOC® series 60

With the QUICKLOC® series 60, the potential for innovation of Böllhoff up-to-date fastening techniques can be depicted.

The fastening system is based on two component parts - a locking bolt and a lock bottom.
For assembly, the lock top has to be inserted through a drill hole and then locked with the retaining washer.
The lock bottom has to be clipped into a rectangular hole.
For locking, the bolt on the lock top has to be turned a quarter turn to the right or left while applying slight pressure. With the inclined shoulders, the lock bottom holds the bolt in its position.
Upon opening - quarter turn to the left or right - the contact tongues are forced apart. Via the lateral chamfer on the bolt, the tongues push the lock into the opened position.

Different variants of QUICKLOC® quick releases

QUICKLOC® series 60

The quarter-turn pressure lock can be opened by left or right turn. Due to plug-in connections, assembly is easy. Even when dirty, performance reliability is not affected.
QUICKLOC® series 60 plastic

The plastic quarter-turn pressure lock can be opened by left or right turn. It is corrosion-resistant and very lightweight. It can also be used with centering and pressure lock.
